The 4th Annual
Art of Motoring Exhibition returns to the Royal Automobile Club House on Pall Mall for 2018. Part of London Motor Week, the event runs from 29
th October to 3
rd November and continues
online with Historic Car Art until 30th November. The exhibition curated by Jane Holmes of the RAC, Rupert Whyte of Historic Car Art and Andrew Marriott of Pit Lane Productions is one of Europe’s primary curated exhibitions of motoring and motor racing art.
On show will artworks from 14 artists. All work will be available to purchase from the exhibition with much available
online here too, during and the weeks after, the show. Exhibition stalwarts
John Ketchell,
Tim Layzell,
Paul Dove, Richard Wheatland and
Neil Collins with be joined by many other British artists and one or two artists from Europe and beyond.
Argentinian artist Alfredo de la Maria will be showing in London for the first time for many years, Sculptors
Gary Smith, Tim Potts and Robin Bark will exhibit their solid bronze and aluminium castings, and
Jonny Ambrose will show his steam-bent wood and carbon fibre creations for the first time.
Other exciting additions for 2018 are
Simon Britnell and
Andrew Barber. Both of whom have very different and contrasting styles that will compliment the exhibition perfectly.
