French | Le Mans 24 hours 1972 Original Poster

Original vintage poster for the Le Mans 24 hours 1972 race. The race was won by Graham Hill and Henri Pescarolo driving for the French Matra team.

For 1972 poster the ACO moved away from the photographic posters of the mid-late 1960's and early 70's and commissioned poster artist Jean Jacquelin (1905-1989) to produce this fabulous graphic representation of the 24 hour race.

This poster would be at home in any 70's contemporary art collection, and this is one of the finest examples we have seen in over 15 years.
